Default BOG DOWN 6.0

MY 6.0 FORD F-250 HAS NO POWER AT FIRST. AFTER I DRIVE IT FOR A MILE OR SO IT SEEMS TO RUN FINE. DO I NEED NEW INJECTERS OR JUST A REPROGRAM OF THE COMPUTER?

What kinda modifications have been done to your truck? How long since you changed both fuel filters? Any Codes found on computer?

Is this after it has sat for a bit? 99.9% chance it needs the latest calibration for cold start concerns. That is if it hasnt gone long enough to actually damage the internal parts of the injectors.

What's the maintenance history like - the oil not getting changed as often as it needs to be can contribute to this.

I gotta ask what year is the truck? My 04 was notorious for this. Also doesn't every 6.0 sluggish at first when you start out unless you warm it up quite a bit. I've been told that it's a Ford and live with it.

I had this problem, it got progressively worse until it would actually die on me. Turns out it was the wiring to the ficm chaffing and grounding out, the thing that really stumped me is the fact that cold mornings made the problem worse, would have no problems in the afternoons, my truck is an 04' built in 03' with an 03' motor. I would see if they have rerouted the wiring yet on your truck, they told me where the wiring was run from the factory ceated the problem. When I picked the truck up and they told me what they had done to fix it I did not believe it was fixed, but problem has never returned.
