Default just ordered exhaust

i'm new to the site....i just took the plunge and ordered new exhaust for my truck...i went with the MBRP 4" turbo back with the cat. delete and the muffler delete pipe.....i'm wondering if this was a mistake or not...i'm not concerned about it being illegal (which in Jersey i think it is)....i'm just wondering if it makes that big of a difference performance wise...anyone have a similiar setup?......

i already have a 110,000 miles so i'm looking to start fiddling with my truck (it's bone stock except for the K&N air filter)......of course the head gasket went at 101,000 miles and after reading some of the posts i'm wondering if i should of had the head studs upgraded?.......And i'll admit off the bat that i'm not that mechanically inclined, thats why i'm trying to educate myself on here

any thing that frees up your intake and exhaust is nothing but good. the illegal thing will be a problem down the road but you should keep the stock exhaust stuff and put it on before inspection. you made a good purchase. head studs are a great thing to upgrade on the 6.0l because i think stock torque on the head is 85- 90 lbs and a performance set of studs takes you up to 250-275 lbs. its worth every penny for your heads!

I have an '05 6 litre with MBRP smoker stacks with no muffler. The 6.0 sounds like an airplane at idle and sounds awesome when you put your foot in it. You will fall in love with the sound.

you will definatly like the sound of that four inch and the power but i also reccomend a five or six inch tip for it it makes it sound even better and if you get a tip dont just clamp it on put a little spot weld on it people like to try and steal them cause they aint cheap
