Default Which Is A Better Long Term Investment?

Ok, I need opinions people because I honestly don't know a lot in this area. Which would be a better investment, Water/methanol injection or the Banks Techni-Cooler Intercooler including the high ram intake?

I am looking to lower my EGT's. I know the water/methanol in cheaper, but I am wondering how it will do long term. If anyone out there is running either of these products, please throw me some opinions.

How high are your EGT's? Do you have a turbo back exhaust?

Water/meth will continue to cost you money with the purchase of distilled water and meth. Also water/meth will increase yor chamber pressures, anything approaching 40% meth puts your head gaskets ate risk with a 6.0, unles you have head studs already.

I'd say increasing the efficiency of the intercooler would be the route I'd go if I had the money.

My EGT'S average in the high 700's to mid 800's. I have a 4" MBRP cat-back exhaust. I am leaning the way of the intercooler but I want to know how they work for people in real life applications. i read a lot of product reviews on both products but I can't I can't find any customer reviews.

is the 700-800* EGT's at WOT? if so i'd skip on both. the intercooler and intake will be a better building block for future mods than water meth will be..... the intercooler will give you a nice little jump in HP and TQ too.... and it'll always be there and you will never have to re-fill it.

oh and for a better long term investment i'd put money in land and houses.... never a vehicle.....

I have the Techni Cooler and on average it lower my egts anywhere from 100 to 250 degrees depending on the situation. At 70ish with my mods its at about 600. When I was dynoing my truck the IC was hot to the touch on the intake side and ice cold on the outlet, kinda cool! All it has was a fan blowing on it. Plus with the high ram and larger piping it flows alot more cfms. The IC itself is ALOT thicker and bigger than the stock on as well. Hope this helps ya, anymore q's you have just ask!

Just out of curiosity, what was your EGT's before you installed the intercooler. Everyone says the reason my temps are so high is because of my 37 inch tires, which I can understand. and can anyone tell me what WOT stands for? I am still learning the lingo.

Copy, that makes seance. If there are any other acronyms I should know don't hesitate to pass them on. No those temps are not WOT, those temps are normal driving around town and freeway driving at approx. 65 mph.
