Default Injector Fuel plate damage

Anyone ever seen this? These are 160/00 injectors that were just modified. This one has been throwing a contribution code until i took it apart and found the problem. I replaced the fuel plates and nozzle and all is good. Not sure what caused this?

Never seen it before, it appears someone did a bad grinding job. That is a channel that feeds fuel. I thought about grinding mine as a mod but had no extra parts at the time. If I may ask who did the injector mods?

i talked to the shop that did the machining and they said that the fuel plate was previously lapped too much so they had to take down the passage with a dremel..it was chatham fuel injection.btw. im not sure if this fuel plate caused the problem or not because i replaced the nozzle and the nozzle spring also. But basically the injector froze up at wot. And i belive the high pressure oil had nowhere to go and took out the solinoid.
