Transylvania fluid

I believe my truck has the 5R110W TORQSHIFT in it. Just read that it takes MERCON SP automatic transmission fluid. What will happen if standard Mercon is used?

I would use mercon SP, if you can't find SP, then i would use mercon LV.

But I was on the road, cooler hose ruptured, could not find sp had to use type F. What are the possible issues?

Possible issues, damaged transmission, drain the transmission pan & fill up with MERCON SP, if you can't find SP then MERCON LV !!!
