Question 04 0 f350 losf power and misfire

new to diesel engines my truck is a 2004 f350 Harley edition. the truck starts rough and idles rough. has no power on takeoff or during driving really and seems to shift really hard when under 30mph . i bought the truck used and it seemed fine. i was tinkering and noticed that the center plug on the computer located on driver valve cover wasn't pluged in basically so i plugged it in and bolted it down. broke off radiator overflow spout in process so i just took the truck to garage to replace the radiator so the fluids could be saved since i just flushed everything in june. the garage took off the ficm and noticed a clip broke that holds it in place. with a zip tie to hold it firm we gave it a try and still same issues so i took it and had the truck scanned even though the engine light never comes on or flashes. the following codes came up. P0282-p0284-p0299-p0403-p0405-p0500-p1000 any ideas as to what i should do and why the truck is showing so many codes. i have heard about the egr issues the 6.0 have but my truck doesn't seem to have any steam or smoking problems any and all advice and help greatly appreciated.

so the best tool you will ever buy for this truck is either a scan gauge II or something similar so you can look at pids in the computer to find out whats going on with your 6.0.. usually those codes are from lack of ficm voltage.. the truck needs 45-48 volts to the injectors to fire. you can use a simple multi meter to diagnose for now. but if you have a scan gauge or something that just plugs into the obdII then its a lot easier. start with figuring out what your ficm voltage is at.. the p0299 could be because of a clogged up exhaust back pressure sensor. remove the pipe that comes off the driver side exhaust and goes up towards the thermostat and inspect to see if its clogged up.. you can use air or welding rod.
