I have read a lot of threads and some are close but not close enough on what problem I'm having.. I have a 06 f350 6.0l. 165,000 mile just bought it a few months ago. I had to put all new injectors in it. Thought was egr at first but i cleaned it. Then replaced it. Truck ran great after injectors were replaced. I know intake need cleaned I have problem with the egr about every 3 weeks have to clean it cause it sticks open . Went up north had to clean it while up their. The diesel guy up there said while truck is off just uplug it till I can do the delete. Ran fine for a week then seem to getting heavy white smoke on take off smell of raw diesel . so i warranty egr thinking that was problem , put new one in seem to help. Seem to get a lot better but still seem to have it not as bad, no sweet smell , no oil in the exhaust, no coolant loss, idol's fine runs good. little hessatant on throttle in the beginning then seems To clear and go. Fuel filters all new OEM parts starts fine only complaint is smoke on take off. Seem be a lot worse when it was 11° out some time it would be bad like egr was stuck open. Any thoughts on what it can be.. I have no engine code. I'm a new diesel owner but can work in them my self. Thanks in advance for any and all help I can get..
