Default Please Help

I bought a 2005 f350 harley about 30 days ago from a ford dealer. Truck had 59,800 miles now has 60,000 i bought the extended warranty. I changed my fuel filters and they were as black as i have ever seen looked to have never been changed. The problem im having is the turbo went out so i drove to the dealer i bought from and the said the Turbo was gummed up causing it to fail now the warranty says it will not cover because its preventable. Any suggestions i feel im being screwed i just bought the truck and made sure i bought the warranty now im out 3000 bucks. Any suggestions should the dealer or warranty cover Thanks

These problems, are common from bad maintenance of engine oil and fuel filter and fuel quality. Which in your case is the cause. Here's a quote of this turbo issue.

"Turbos also can get gummed up by unburned fuel and in variable-flow turbos, the vanes are prone to getting stuck. This can be caused - once again - by contaminated fuel, excessive idling in cold weather, or low engine-operating temperatures. Many turbo specialists think it is good for the turbo to be operated at full-throttle conditions periodically, just to keep the carbon deposits to a minimum. A standard turbo rebuild starts at around $350. As it turned out, this turbo was a little dirty, but otherwise perfectly good. The turbo was cleaned up and rebalanced, and set aside for reuse."

But as for fords actual standard warranty... No they don't cover for neglected maintenance or operations which is your case.
But you just put 200 miles since you bought it, at that dealer. This SHOULD be the dealers itself be responsible. BUT clearly they don't give a sh*t about there customers and what the give them as vehicles. Clearly they don't care in doing preventative maintenance before giving it to there customers.
Your fight is with them, not doing the check on the truck before selling it. I hope you saved you filters and that ugly fuel you took out, I would show it to their face and tell them why they didn't see that before selling it. Making a scene at the dealer too can work . Just a suggestion. See a way to ruin the reputation and see if it wins in your favour. If they care for their rep, then they ll do something.

But now, this isn't your only worry, what the hell is that black crap. I've seen in heavy equipment because of deteriorating fuel lines, and one time something in the fuel tank. But it can be other cases. And not only could it cause your turbo to gum up, it can definitely cause issues to your injectors too.

So use this in your fight with the dealer.
