Default 06 EBP problems ands leaving unplugged

So ive read several posts that say unless you are on 03-04 you couldnt ubolug the EBP without having turbo issues. Well yesterday out of nowhere i started getting boost up to 35 psi, high egts, and very low power. My vgt duty cycle stays at .84 at all times.

The only tjing ive changed is putting in a new ebp sensor about a week ago. At the time, it showed no change. The new sensor read 49 psi at koeo the same as the old one did. After it started the overboost and no power i checked and it was only reading 28.79. I unplugged the EBP sensor and vgt goes to .42 at idle, has power again. And only builds to 27 psi boost.

Why is my truck running better/normal with the EBP unplugged and what else could be wrong with the ebp? The wires to it maybe?

What are you using to read the EBP?

Sct x4. I plugged it back into today and it was working fine. Dunno. Guess it fixed itself.
