Thank you,, Thought I really wanted a diesel, BUT,, I got a lemon I think,, and now they scare me,, I am going to do the Upgrade with some BPD Parts, And A Lot of Ford OEM Parts,, But still afraid to drive it,, If a head gasket or ???? goes out in it ,, I wont be able to afford another fix,, SOOoooo,, I have to sell it when its done,, I want to drive her ,, and keep her,, But,, that breakdown keeps going through my head,, I Guess im just a scaredy cat,, if I could have driven this ford for a couple a months before these injectors went out,, I would probably have loved switching to a diesel, but my luck,, I got to drive it maybe a half a day, and it started missin,,

That is understandable to be scared of any diesel engine. any of us big diesel enthusiasts will tell you how many times we have tore down our engines because we melted/broke/destroyed a major component. or at least i could

The 6.0 is a very "finicky" engine in my opinion. with all that you have done i would not think you will have any other major issues. but i cannot promise that. if you do sell it that is very much understandable. the biggest issue that i see is a guy will have an injector go bad and toss one in it. then a month later another goes bad. it is a three hour job to install an injector, but only .2 hours more per injector on the same side. the truck will get a 3 hour bill every other month for the next year. so with that being said it is very good that you made the correct choice by doing it all. personally i would not hesitate driver her around a bit but that all depends what you are planning to do with the truck.

if you do sell it. i would not be scared to buy another diesel, if you are a ford fan the 7.3 Powerstroke is a great engine.

they all break- if it has got **** or tires it will give you problems

Default Thanks

really do appreceiate the input, ,, finished up the Bullet Proof job,, BUT,,, Now I have no oil pressure at an idle, , engine runs GREAT, Have oil pressure anything over 1000 rpms, all my reading tells me its a pump,,, Just my luck, But maybe some one here can tell me, on the oil cooling housing, that plastic up pipe the oil filter wraps around, There is no little ball bearing OR little spring or a cap on top of the pole,, am I missing some parts ????

Rule of thumb for oil pressure is 10psi per 1000 rpm. So if you are in that range you are good!
