Hello! I have a 2004 F250 6.0. Just did an egr delete a couple weeks ago, truck was running great. All of a sudden went out to start it and took a little bit to crank. Truck started idling rough,sounded liking a knocking almost. It only does white smoke when accelerating. Plugged in a scan tool came up with code p0284/ Cylinder 8 Contribution/Balance Fault. Thought it was the injector so i replaced the #8.The old injector had normal ware on it. Started it and still ran the same exact way. Finally took it to a mechanic and they said i have no compression in Cylinder #8 at all. Telling me iam gonna need a new engine . I really need some help guys i have no idea what to do

 

Did you make sure you put injector in correctly, with o rings and sealing copper ring on bottom?

 

New injector already came with new o rings and copper ring pre installed.
