Low Oil Pressure

Default Low Oil Pressure

My oil gauge on my 2006 F350 6.0 drops at idle ive replaced the oil cooler along with the high pressure oil rails and pump also my ICP sensor it doesn't throw the engine light at all but it runs fine other then that

make sure you have the right oil filter, it should be a Motorcraft or a Fram, they are the same thing. some oil filters are too short, aspecially the ones with their own caps.

That's all I use is Motor Craft on it

Have you changed IPR valve? I've had the low pressure G-rotor pump take a poop on mine before and cause this also

Just had that same problem. Leak in hpo line and check ball out on hpop. New hpop and line and it runs great. Is it hard to start after it sits?

06 don't have check ball on pump

03 04 have check ball 05 and up don't have check ball

Did not know that. Well the hpo leak still applies but mine gave a code for low icp on cranking

I do believe he changed icp and pump and rails but yeah there is a possibility of a high pressure leak for sure
