SO I have a 99...well just look at my signature the guy has a 05 ext cab 8 foot bed SRW (which I need due to parking confines at my new home...) 167,xxx miles and 710Hrs ( was a city truck so has an hr meter) what should I look for with those miles and would it be a good trade? has a rusty wheel well and dented bumper bodys in real good shape for a MI truck for sure SADLY its only a 2wd IIRC those have a factory locker??? but fire away thanks in advance!!!

 

i wouldn't... i have always heard at that mileage is when you should start paying close attention to the injectors

 

all the more reason to upgrade em right?!?! Im a construction mechaninc for the navy so doing all the work isnt a problem im just looking for more of what is known for these engines, right now all I know is the egr coolers go bad and head gaskets other than that im not to sure...

 

those and the unfaithful head studs!
