LOTS of oil in intake, degas bottle burping while driving
I have a 05 F350 with a 6.0. It has 480,000 kms on it. The engine always has a smell of antifreeze from under the hood. No visible leaks except for the coolant bottle wet on it and below it from the cap. No matter what level I put it at and I do have to add coolant frequently. no white exhaust that I can see. just bluish from a bad ficm. The truck does have a EGR Delete on it. but the EGR valve is still in place as to not give the code. Inside the intake manifold when I take out the EGR Valve, it is all Oil. enough to get a piece of paper towel wet with the oil. My friend says its a head gasket but there in no oil in the coolant or coolant in the oil. I have to say its really confusing me. When you look at the visible head bolts they are just bolts, not studs. the person I purchased the truck from said all that stuff was done. but regardless weather it was or not I would really just like your insight to diagnose it please. Im at a loss and cant afford to get the work done by someone. it will be me. No mods other than the delete kit that im aware of. work and pleasure truck, haul skid steer sometimes. Changed degas bottle cap today. do not know if it helped. or what it would even help. .

You did the right thing by replacing the cap first, sometimes it is just that, keep monitoring the coolant level, it should only go to min line. Has the oil cooler evr been replaced? hopefully that was done when you had the EGR delete done. When a headgasket goes it won't bleed oil and coolant into each other, what happens is compression enters the coolant passage and it builds up so much pressure that the cap on degas bottle will pop and you loose coolant.
