Some of you may remember me from last summer having to replace my heads on my 04 X . Well I thought I would save some money and bought 3 injectors rebuilt by Alliant. That was a mistake on my part. I had 3 go bad all in one month out of warranty,well they were all the ones I got from Central Motive,which are rebuilt from Alliant. The moral to my story is you do not always save money going with a less expensive part. Alliant does not change out the solenoids on these injectors,and Central Motive told me I was buying a completely rebuilt injector. Well that is misrepresentation period. Sorry for the vent just do not want other people to have the same issue.

 

Never had any issues with alliant. anything is possible tho.

 

I think that company took your money, Ford injectors are Alliant injectors and Alliant does replace everything. I will only buy injectors from Ford, they are about the sam price as other people are charging and have the fewest issues. You have to be carefull as there are people that sell empy boxes for Alliant and ford so you can get core charges back, some companys buy these too so the person paying for injectors think they are getting a top of the line unit but they are just getting a "cleaned" up unit.
