Buy an Auto Enginuity scanner with ford package for 350$, if you have windows based PC. Or amazon has scan gauge 2 for 140$. it will atleast give you an idea before you take it anywhere of what trouble codes is being thrown. The A E is a very thorough diagnostic tool. The scan gauge will do basic minimum monitoring, ICP, IPR, ficm voltage, etc.

Will do. Just check fuses. One blown. Replaced it now won't even crank

Got it started, now no codes. But fuel gauge reads low (has full tank) and there is a clicking noise from fuse panel area. Still running like crap.

probably hydrolcked from too much fuel and no combustion, if you're hearing a clicking from fuse panel that sounds like a relay working improperly, this probably won't change anything but crawl under driver side where the fuel pump is, there is a 6 millimeter allen set screw for draining water, drain the water out of the fuel pump. This is a pita without proper socket, but while you're there you can pull filter off and see if there's a bunch of trash in there. Get ready as about 16 oz of fuel will come out on to the floor, you could have a fuel pump going out, you should check the pressure at the regulator where 2nd fuel filter is, another set screw, I think 6 mm also. However It requires an npt fitting to put gauge on. I bought my fuel pressure gauge from harbor freight cheap, all you need is something that will read up 100 psi. The fittings in kit will not fit ford diesel. I put several feet of hose from auto part store to run it under the hood to check pressure at idle and driving conditions.my palm would come on but it had 0 pressure. rockauto.com seles motorcraft filters and pump cheap. Both filters 48$. Motorcraft Pump was 252 on eBay.

forgive the grammar and punctuation I'm speaking into a tablet
