Default Switching from Motorcraft to Rotella? Is it bad for engine?

I am getting my oil changed today and the shop that changes the oil only uses rotella 15w-40. Well currently it has Motorcraft 15w-40 and from what I learned it has used that oil for the past 200k miles. Am I risking anything by putting the rotella in? And maybe in the future if I want to use Motorcraft again, can I cause problems doing that?

no if anything your benefitting rotella is such better oil. If its both sythetic then it wouldnt matter either what brand. The whole myth you cant go back to sythetic from mineral is not all true ist not even close to as bad as people say the only really bad thing is the sythetic breakes the mineral oil down.
