Default injector re-sealing kit

is it worth buying a seal kit and re-sealing the injector before trying to replace it? im having hard start and white smoke on start up. not a whole lot of white smoke just a little puff. it also has this little rock to it at idle its nothing super serious (i think anyways) but you can definitly feel it. i want to say its an injector. it also takes for ever to build boost but when it does it puts you in the seat. im really confused my this problem. im not sure if i have multiple problems or just one really strange one.

A reseal kit won't fix a bad injector. Test your FICM first to make sure it is not the cause of the problem. Does it get better once it is warmed up? if so it may just be stiction and using RevX might help you out

last time i checked my ficm everything was good. it doesnt get any better when its warmed up at all. ive noticed between 1500 nd 2000 rpms it shakes pretty bad. if i have anything in the cupholder that pulls out of the dash it will shake out for sure. im not sure how to tell the difference between injectors and glow plugs. i know you can ohm them and anything over continuity is bad but everything seemed within limits when i cecked them. it only seems like its one cylinder. i was getting a code for the #4 injector low circuit but that went away and hasnt came back. im just shy of taking it to ford and having them trouble shoot it for me because im just lost in this problem

soumds like it is a dead injector, one way to find it is to use a temperature gun, you can get them for around $40 at Harbour freight, and when you first start it aim the temp gun at the exhaust manifold right where each cylinder enters it and just look for the cold cylinder. You can normally see the exhaust man. from the whell well opening. If you know anyone with Auto Enginuity program or a professional scanner they should be able to find out which cylinder it is pretty easy.
