Painting Suspension?

Painting Suspension?
Well I just got back from working in Alaska and figured it was time to do some upgrades. Have a hydro assist kit, new rear shocks, and fabricating a diff cover mount for the hydro assist. (oh and an on board air system with a Nathan Airchime K5LA horn ) A good majority of the parts for suspension lift the paint or powder coat is cracking/peeling. Is there any at home painting products (spray paint) that will hold up pretty decent? Don't really have or want to drop the $$ to drop on powder coating everything unless I have to. Also what about painting leaf springs?

sounds like a plan . powder coat is more cohesion then adhesion, so its probably not sticking to the metal underneath if it wasn't prepped or baked right. so more then likely your going to need to redo what's ever powder coated. but paint wise what parts are you specifically trying to paint?

and for leaf springs your better off rattle canning it.. they rub a lot and its probably going to be a pain in the *** to keep touching up. and costly.

Everything I can. Drag link + bracket, track bar, front diff cover after i fab it, bump stop brackets, rear diff, drive shaft, maybe my traction bars. Going to clean and recoat frame rails where needed. Thats what im thinking for leaf springs. Anyone have good success with certain kinds of spray paints as to durability for everything else?

I don't really know as 2 a can paint, but make sure you mask off the threads, paint can get thick and make putting everything back together a pain.
ohhhhhhhh try engine enamel paint, extra 5 bucks a can but its very very very durable. few coats will make it look right.
