Default ford 6.0 egr delete and more questions

hey this is my second ford 6.0 both were 05 i did the egr delete and blue spring bigger oil tube off turbo. stock head bolts.. never really had to many problems with it but now im on to my next 6.0 this one is stock other then the straight pipe thats on it and i have a piller with egt volts boost. i also have a edge ct to watch my ect and eot i dont program it with the egde tho just so you know but question is when i go to do my egr delete on this truck what els should i do when im down there im thinking the hpop stc fitting update and a rebuild oil cooler kit by the way my ect and oil temps are always really close to ether so it worth doing the rebuild kit and what els should i be looking for or to do ?

sounds like you hitting on all the needed upgrades. if eot and ect are within 10* you could save some money but, I would put it towards a coolant filter kit.

ya thats what im thinking there very close like 1 to 2 off at most times and i defiantly want a coolant filter what do you think about studs i know there a good idea but im going to run a light sct tune and i dont drive it that hard should i do them or just wait till it blows ? and yes money is a bit of a problem i cant just be thorwing it around thanks

If it were me Id just drive it and be putting some money back in case the headgaskets do let go at some point

thats true do you know of any one with stock bolts with high kms ?

the gaskets are very prone to fail, a lot end up goin back with stock bolts but, studs are better insurance over the bolts. H.G. jobs arent cheap, I would say do it right the first time, spend the money on studs

If you spend the money and do it right the first time all at once then you wont have to worry about it at all other then maintenance.

dont have the money so far yesterday i did the egr delete and oil cooler and hpop stc fitting
