Default Little injector help?

Hello all, and thanks in advance for any replies. I have removed and reinstalled a new injector on my 2003 6.0. Before I start the engine do I need to do anything to pull oil back into the high pressure oil rail? Do i just need to cycle the key and glow plugs a few time prior to firing it up? Thanks again for any help.

It'll take some pretty extensive cranking to fire it up. Then after it fires it'll run a little rough, smoke a bit and be a little noisy till you get all of the air out of the system. It'll usually take 20 are so miles. Try short 30-45 sec crank cycles much longer than that tends to be hard on starters.

Yeah I usually charge them and leave the charger hooked up till they start.
