ok so i bought some aftermarket amber smoked cab markers and in order to install them i have to drop the headliner ive never done this so do i just have to take the pillars off and the liner will drop or is there other things holding it up there?

 

I've never had to remove the headliner, but here's a bump for you, hopefully someone knows. I doubt it will just drop down, my guess is there is some clips holding it up.

 

"Just remove all of the pillar trim pieces, visors, and overhead console. The trim pretty much just pops off, the grab handles are bolted on and the seat belt loops need to be unbolted. The over head console pulls down and kind of forward. I do not have sun roof."

The seat belt loops likely only applies to the crew cabs too, my extended cab the seat belts are mounted to the seats.

 

alright thanks yeah mine is a crew cab but i dont have an overhead console so hopefully thats one less step i will have to do i was considering getting rid of the truck and getting a 6.4 but i guess i will just keep this for a while and keep adding to it i will try the head liner the next warm day we get unfortunatly its not lookn like thats gonna happen any time soon i swear the only good thing about ohio is sports and big trucks sorry ohio but u let me down when you voted for obama and took a crap ton of money out of my pockets.
