Last year about this time I bought and installed mechanical gauges Boost, and Pyro. Now am wishing I had just gone with like an Edge Insight or something similar. I guess hindsight is better than forsight right? As I learn more about my truck I want to be monitoring other things as well. ECT, EOT, EGT as well as fuel pressure I know I need to be aware of....what else? My main question is what monitor if any will monitor all of these parameters? I currently have no tuner and no mods other than an aftermarket intake elbow (on truck when I bought it) and a bypass oil filter. I will be buying a tuner in the near future as well so any advice there would be appreciated. I do know I probably shouldnt tune unless prepared for studs gaskets etc, and I am ready for that when thetime comes. Thanks

 

If you plan on tuning and want the pod, go with the SCT livewire TS, you'll get the capability of custom tuning via the SCT, but also have one of the best monitors on the market IMO. I'm seriously considering selling my 7 or 8 stand alone gauges and going with that...

 

What all does the livewire monitor?

 

Anything the OBD port picks up, as well as the add on stuff like EGT's, fuel pressure... It's like a nicer Edge insight CTS. It also has recall functions to see max boost, etc...
