Default Fuel additive

What additive is best for running in these trucks? i always diesel kleen in my cummins but i didnt know if there was one that maybe stood a little better for the 6.0.

Im sure there are 250 post on what fuel additive to run in a 6.0 but im kinda tired of searching for a post with quite a few good reasonable answers.

I use Opti-lube XPD in my 6.0 and my VW TDI. I wouldn't use anything else in any diesel.

6.0 specific, get some rev-x oil additive though, world of difference with that.

Start with the rev-x, you'll be more than impressed. I use that 100% of the time. It's an oil additive, not a fuel additive (though I believe they do have a fuel additive too). I use the XPD opti-lube stuff mostly in the winter, but it certainly wouldn't hurt to run all year.

Here's why I use opti-lube:

As for the rev-x oil additive, that's more word of mouth than anything, but trust me, you'll be a believer too once you try the stuff, it's unreal.

Power Service or TC-W3 2-stroke oil for the fuel additives. Add Power Service as the bottle indicates. 2-stroke oil should be .5-1 oz per gallon, test run as required to find what works best for your truck.

Oil additives are another story.
