05 f250 keeps stalling
Ok so i get a phone call from my son he tells me truck keeps stalling the rpms go up and down speradically the let it sit for a couple minutes and it runs normal for a mile or 2 then does same thing im kinda pissed bcuz he didnt even ask if he can take my truck
It has 157000 miles egr delete leveling kit 35s and a sct tuner from innovative, everything else is stock. It ran like it was new when i went huntn and to work this morning so im kinda at a lose as to whats goin on. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

ok so i just plugged in my sct and here are the codes it threw at me.P0236, P0266, p0284, p0676 im smart at alot of things but im kinda new to diesels so if you know whats going on with my truck please b very specific when explaning it to me. And he made it back home it stalled like 5x and when he got home i started it back up and pushed the pedal and it had a little sputter then i put it in reverse and it lost all power dropped it in drive and again no power back in park and it started to act better not good but better. i dont know if this is how it acts when a injector is goin out or if its more like a headgasket or the ficm i just dont even know where to start.

P0236 is MAP Turbo/supercharger boost sensor A circuit range/performance Restricted exhaust, hose missing
P0266 is cylinder 2 contribution/balance fault
P0284 is cylinder 8 contribution/balance fault
P0676 is glow plug 6 circuit fault.
Check to make sure the Map hose is still in place. There is a nipple coming off of the passenger side of the intake manifold, the MAP hose attaches there, make sure it's still there...
P0266 is cylinder 2 contribution/balance fault
P0284 is cylinder 8 contribution/balance fault
P0676 is glow plug 6 circuit fault.
Check to make sure the Map hose is still in place. There is a nipple coming off of the passenger side of the intake manifold, the MAP hose attaches there, make sure it's still there...
Might want to unplug the ICP sensor and see if it runs better, if it does then the ICP sensor is faulty, it is installed right into the pass side valve cover right behind glow plug module. It will run with it unplugged. If this does not fix it then I would be looking for a shorted wire that deals with the sensor circuts...
That hose comes off the the top of the intake right behind the alternator and goes up to the sensor mounte on the cowling just to the left of the turbo, the hose is normally covered in that plastic wire wrap.
ok so i unhooked the icp sensor truck wouldnt even stay runing i plugged sensor back in and it started it stayed running till it just started to warm up then the lope idle started i put it in gear and the rpm's dropped to about 400 and within 30 seconds it stalled. so i plugged in my sct and it threw p2285 code. i also checked that hose and it is connected aswell. i really dont want to pay the ford dealership to take care of this bcuz it will be an arm and a leg.

i just looked up that code and i see its the icp sensor so maybe thats just from when i had it unplugged so if thats the case then its not showing any codes.

Do you have a labtop? You can use your SCT and monitor the truck, I'd be interested in seeing ICP desired and ICP actual while it's doing this. You can download the SCT livelink software from their website and use your SCT to do this.
yes i have a laptop i didnt realize you could do that but i will try it out as soon as i get home from work. Does the livelink software cost money or is it free? guess doesnt really matter if it helps figure out the problem.
ok so i downloaded livelink and ran the program just under diesel so i wasnt sure what i was looking for but if you could give me a little help i saved the the data that i ran then i put it in gear and it stalled so i stopped running the data.
