Grrrr
Exactly like this when I'm sitting inside the cab with the window up and the radio off. My VGT is plugged in and 100% functional so I'm gonna go with it was just me being paranoid. Lol.

East Penn Manufacturing is local to where I live, so most of the auto stores carry the Deka brand. I had a chat with the local NAPA parts guy, he said that the Napa brand batteries were just relabel Deka batteries. He didn't know if this was nation wide of a local thing.
So talked to one of my buddies who works at East Penn in the sales dept, He said most NAPA stores on the east coast use the Deka battery with the NAPA label. He wasn't sure about the rest of the country.
It sure helps having a couple friends who work their, I can get blemished batteries (cosmetic defect) for free, or can stop by the plant and get blemished batteries for half the cost.

I was lucky and the guy I bought my truck from had just put two brand new DieHard Platinum batteries in. Supposedly 930 CCA at 0 degrees. Sure does crank over nice. Not sure they are worth the $210.00 price tag but they seem to work.
New CATs are in
ended up at $129/ea, hot damn does she crank fast
almost sounds like she's got no compression but runnin' like a top. Only time will tell if they were too low for too long and did any internal damage to the computers

I would think if they damaged the FICM you would know very soon or right away. I killed mine one day trying to start my brothers stupid KW in -10* and the dang thing wasn't plugged all night. next day we put a new set of the cheapo batterys from autozone in and installed the high idle (setup for running an aux pump) and didnt notice anything abnormal. But good luck.
