just got a 2005 6.0 with all the head work done and looking for a chip. what do yall think of the sct? what others would be good?

 

SCT is hands down the best for a 6.0. Just get yourself some good custom tunes, they way outperform the canned ones that come with the flash device

If you want to go with a box tuner IMO H&S Mini Maxx

 

I can get a great deal on the mini max. But which is better for the 6.0

 

I am a firm believer in H&S products as they have outstanding customer service

 

So the mini max would be a good thing for my 6.0 cause I can get it brand new for 725

 

IMO yes they are awesome

 

IMO no they're not the best option as they don't offer any transmission tuning what so ever.

UNLESS, you get it custom tuned.

Last I knew the H&S stuff was more money up front, and there is only one guy writing custom tunes for it. Mike @ KEM.

SCT with custom tunes is less money, is safer for your trans, and there are dozens of people writing tunes for them.

This is more fact than opinion.
