Default Turbo issues?

Today I was on my way to school in my 2003 6.0l ford, just put new injectors in two weeks ago. It made a loud whooshing sound and I lost all boost, at first I thought it was a after cooler pipe blown off but that wasn't the case. I got code p2262. Any ideas?

I will check in an hour or so, but to narrow it down would it probably be the pressure side or the intake side?

Not sure. Could be anywhere but if you heard a sudden whoosh then lost all boost, you more than likely have a boot off or ripped. Never had a problem though, so i wouldnt be 100% sure

Pull all of the boots off and check them out. Usually when a boot pops off it makes a loud BOOM. P2262 is when MGP does not go above 5 kPa or 0.7 psi when the following conditions are met: RPM must be above 2800, VFDES above 20, and EGRVP below 0.10. all of these conditions must be met for at least 5 seconds before the code would be set. This code is used to detect a MAP sensor hose that has come off.

Check to make sure the map hose is hooked up still, it goes to the passenger side of the intake manifold.

It's an 03, it doesn't have one, it should be metal on both sides on an 03 and early 04.

Big Ant, how about some more info about the truck and the problem. Not really enough info to go off of there. If you go to the top of the 6.0 page there is thread titled "New guys read here before posting tech questions" and it will give you an idea of what we're looking for in your post to help you quicker.
