Default Another no start problem :-(

So this has been a log drawn on issue. Truck All of a sudden began starting hard and ran sluggish like it was cold until it got warmed up even though it was around 85 degrees. Shut it off one day gettin fuel as it would start. Took it home. Replaced 3 injectors, Hpop and did an egr delete. Ran great. I was driving home ( 980mi trip) 100 mi from home it just died. No shutter or stutter just dead. Mechanic told me it was my ficm so I took it home and replaced it. Now still no start. Just cranks and cranks til I kill the batteries. Which are both brand new. Help please. I'm at my wits end with this thing. I have no way of reading codes or getting it to a place where I can have it plugged in. Thanks guys

Sorry. By the way. 2005 f250 6.0 170000 mi. Edge juice with attitude, bulletproof diesel egr delete

Did you replace the whole FICM wth a brand new one? if so they have to be programmed before they will work. best bet is to swap one from a known good running truck to at least test it to see if that is the real problem.
Have you rechecked the IPR valve? they are known to get fouled up after a HPOP install and can cause issues too.

Ya. I purchased one that was refurbished as programmed for my truck and supposedly tested on a 6.0.... I installed a new ipr when I replaced the Hpop. I even reset the fuel switch. I'm out of ideas. It almost acts like it doesn't have enough oil pressure again but I have no way of testing it

did you install new standpipes and dummy plugs also? that would button up the High Pressure system, they are offered in a kit for around $100 from Tousley Ford.
even if you installed a new IPR when you did the HPOP it can get clogged again because of debri left from the old pump, we have seen alot of guys have that problem.

So I should dig back down and pull the ipr and check the screen? If so is there a way to so it with removing so much stuff? Would that cause a no start just crank?

They make a special socket to make it easier, it can be gotten from the drivers side by removing air cleaner and FICm, it is tough but it can be done. Also I would unplug the Edge and just plug the connector/s back into the computer to eliminate that as a poosibility.

It'simple to find out, just unplug the ICP sensor, it will run wothout it plugged in. it sets a default setting of 2000psi to the computer to allow the motor to run.

Where is it located? I've read on the valve cover and by the oil pump and a couple other places??

on the 05 it is on the pass side valve cover right behind the glowplug module, it screws right through the valve cover, only the 03 and early 04s have it right behind the IPR valve.
