Default Sealed the AFE Airbox

I knew that the AFE airbox was not sealing to hood but had no idea that it was short by several inches.
I first made a template out of cardboard and was able to trim/add based on where it bent when the hood shut.
Then transferred it to aluminum, trimmed a little more and painted. Finally added a nice gasket.

I'm thinking of drilling a 1" or so hole in the back wall below the airfilter and running a vent hose to blow air across the FICM.

Still doing a fuel system upgrade so I don't know if the SG2 will show any cooler temps.

Looks good! I wouldn't waste my time/effort with making anything to direct air over the FICM. If anything, in that scenario, I see the engine sucking hot air from back by the FICM and bringing it forward into the box.
