Default 2005 f 250 wont start when it should lol

Hello all. Im a new member but have been using this awsome site for problems since I bought my truck 6 months ago. Well I dove in and pulled the motor. Did head gaskets and studs ,stc update, stand pipes and dummy plugs, egr delete to. Truck ran good before but was blowing white smoke and lacked a little power due to the egr valve being pluged. Now I have a no start condition. I replaced the ICP ( I broke it tightening it ) the IPR was taken out and new screen and o rings installed. The old screen had a little debrie on it but no holes, mainly oil deposits. I have 49 volts at the FICM KOEO and 48.3-48.5 cranking. I get no smoke from exhaust so Im sure Im not getting fuel but why when it ran before the work? I am so frustrated.

ON a side note I work on a towboat and am gone 21 days home 9 and I have spent 8 days working on it. I have worked on cars for 25 years and never had one beat me yet but Im at my wits end. I have lost a lot of time I should have spent with my kids instead of on the truck. I would love any help I can get!!! Other wise Ill send it to the dealer witch I dont want to do.

side note two. When I stopped at Orillys to get the ICP it was $238!!!!! and ford was $153! Isnt that backwards????

What have you done so far for diagnosing?

Do you have accecss to a scanner that can read some things for us? ICP actual, ICP desired, IPR duty cycle?

Where are you located? We've seen trucks with parts on them that 05's shouldn't have had, most have been from Canada, and yes it has actually cost us a few days in diagnostics because there were parts on an 05 that only came on 03/04 trucks.

Might try pulling the drivers side intercooler pipe too and try starting it.

I live in north arkansas. I don't have a scanner yet. I'm looking into which one to buy.
Ficm is 49v koeo and 48.3-48.7 cranking. New icp. Blue spring upgrade. Stc standpipes and dummy plugs. Head studs and gaskets. New filters and oil. It ran annd started fine before the work. Just blew white smoke. Oh and eger delete.

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

I did have the intercooler pipe off and tried. Same just cranks and no exhaust smoke or smell

I'll bet the HPOP crapped out (high pressure oil pump).

For a scanner, most of us use AutoEnginuity with the enhanced Ford bundle. It's ~$360 and all you need is a labtop. Works awesome. Can do a lot of things with it. Best bang for the buck out there IMO.

You dont' have a tuner do you? I know the SCT's can datalog some of this info. You really need to see what ICP actual vs. ICP desired is.

Try unplugging the ICP sensor for giggles and try restarting it, see if it changes anything.

At this point my guess is HPOP though.

No tuner. I've tried unplugging the icp and no change. If it was running before the work why would the hoop go bad now? I drove it into the shop and had no starting issues before the work. Just blew white smoke.

It's probably just completely coincidental. The stuff you found on the IPR valve was probably the first sign it was going out.

If you don't have access to a scanner, pull the IPR valve and inspect it again, let us know what you find.
