Default farm boy exhaust?

My brother has a 04 6.0.he just installed a farm boy exhaust and says the downpipe is rattling or bumping the firewall. Any ideas on what he could check or do to solve that.thanks

What size is the down pipe. I think if its bigger then 3.5" hes going to have to beat the firewall in to make more room.

3.5 should fit fine. Im not sure how farmboys exhausts go together or how he put it on. But if he put it all on the started from the turbo back tightening it it shouldn't rub. Mine went in with no problem. It should be fine to move the firewall in a little but he shouldn't need to with that pipe.

My 3.5 down tube use to bounce off of the trans cross member. Yes, the second section of my down tube goes past there. After some moving and shifting of the tube, I got the clearance that I needed

Hitting on the firewall? The only way to really reposition that is take off the tubing behind that, and try and get it spaced out correctly then crank it down again. Might use some small pieces of lumber or something to space it out and hold it in place while you crank it down to ensure it goes no where, then don't forget to grab said lumber out of there before test driving.
