These are not common 6.0 codes... Can we get more info about the truck? How many miles? Any mods?

Does it by chance have an aftermarket alarm/remote start system? Does it by chance have any sort of larger fuel tank installed?

Just found this too:

6.0l - Check Engine Light On With Dtc P0460

FORD:

2005 Excursion
2005-2006 E-350, E-450, F-Super Duty

This article supersedes TSB 06-11-2 to add a production fix date.
ISSUE:

Some 2005 Excursion, 2005-2006 E-Series built before 6/12/2006, and 2005-2006 F-Super Duty vehicles built before 3/15/2006, equipped with a 6.0L diesel engine may exhibit the malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) on with diagnostic trouble code (DTC) P0460 (Fuel Level Sensor A circuit).
ACTION:

P0460 can be caused by several factors. Follow the Service Procedure to determine the correct repair.
SERVICE PROCEDURE

  1. P0460 can be caused by the installation of aftermarket equipment such as remote starter systems and auxiliary fuel tanks.
    1. Ford offers a remote starter system which is recommended. If the vehicle has an aftermarket remote starter system, it would need to be removed / disabled before diagnostics for P0460 can be started.
    2. Auxiliary fuel tanks that continuously replenish the vehicles main tank will cause a P0460. Customers that replenish the vehicles fuel tank from the auxiliary fuel tank while the key is on and engine is running, can set P0460. For vehicles with an auxiliary fuel tank, it is recommended not to use the gravity / continuous fill style auxiliary fuel tanks. It is recommended to add fuel to the vehicles main tank with the key off.
NOTE:P0460 CAUSED BY AFTERMARKET EQUIPMENT/VEHICLE MODIFICATIONS IS NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY.
  2. If there are no aftermarket equipment installed causing the P0460, perform PC/ED Pinpoint test QH and Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 413-01 Pinpoint Test B as directed. If no issues are identified per the procedure, reprogram the powertrain control module (PCM) to the latest calibration using IDS release B43.4 and higher. This calibration contains a revised strategy to eliminate the occurrence of a false P0460. Calibration files may also be obtained at www.motorcraft.com.

Its bone stock on its second set of injectors, new HPOP, Has 202204 Miles but speedo hasnt worked in months so more like 208000 or 210000 miles I cleared the Fuel sensor Code, I think it was cause by they truck running with the P0500 Code VSS Fault, Im assuming it caused a CEL when the P0460 Came on because the truck is running and moving but is losing fuel but thinks its not going anywhere... There no aftermarket alarm, or tank.

Any how my problem is the VSS, the truck has no speed sensor, no odometer at all and this happened after the last repair at the dealer to replace injectors. and check the truck over for a three day haul. But has ABS Light now, and No Speedometer or Odometer at all, Ive checked the wiring up to the main wiring lume and no sings of bad wiring, and pulled and checked and cleaned the connections at the PCM. So I have no Idea where the problem lies, for the VSS its been like this for months and finally had time between planting and harvesting to look at it.... Also the FICM is good I been checkin it periodically... But I know you can test the wire with an multi meter I just dont know which wires to prod at the PCM connction.

I have and replaced the VSS on the rear diff.. Ive read there is two more, on top of the transmission, but money is tight and already wasted 100 bucks on the VSS, so Im not sure if its another sensor or the wireing harness.. I had an OBDII on and watched the transmission and did not catch any hiccups so I believe those sensors are working and the truck shifts fine so I Kinda belive its the wiring harness but I want to be 110% Sure... Thanks for the help...

Well the fuel sensor circuit is most likely just the pickup in the tank. You can probably pull it and clean it (although a pain in the ***) and check it out. Maybe get one from a junkyard, not exactly a common issue for it to have issues. I've also heard some guys running cleaning additives and fresh diesel and it slowly making the issue go away. Also read about some guys just keeping the tank full and the issue goes away, meaning the issue is down on the bottom part of the pickup.

As for the VSS... tough one. Usually when the speedo kicks off and on it's that sensor. I'll see what else I can dig up in the abyss that is the internet.
