Default 6.0 oil smoke

I have a 2006 crew cab long bed with the 6.0 diesel. I bought with 130,000. It has the ARP studs, OEM head gaskets both installed at a ford dealership. Ford replaced EGR cooler, EGR valve. I upgraded to the Sinister cooler the first time, just to delete it within 2,000 miles. I know have a sinister EGR delete kit on truck. I also installed an EDGE CTS tuner. After I installed the delete kit I noticed a little white smoke. I thought it was just left over from what leaked out from the install. It never went away. At idle it puffs white smoke, and as I accelerate to second gear it pours out and then disappears completely, only to do it all agin when I stop and start again. During this time I went from a level 3 on my tuner to a level 4, so either I got used to 3 and didn't like anymore or I experienced a little loss of power and upped it. I am researching about injectors and plan on inspecting each one this weekend. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Can you smell the smoke? Does it smell like coolant (sweet smelling) or fuel? (harsher, might burn the eyes a little bit)?

Mike, I orginially posted the problem. Just now joined, but anyways doesn't smell like coolant or fuel. Everyone tells me it smells like burning oil. And, I'm using about a quart a month of oil. Question is where could be coming from?

Oil is always a blue colored smoke though... if it doesn't smell like anything, my guess would be coolant. Can you get a video of it smoking?

So the EGR cooler is off the truck right? As in, there is no cooler on the truck at all?

Any idea how the headstud job was done? Did they have the heads decked (most ford dealers wont do this)?

EGR is completly off truck. The dealership measured the heads for a deck job since it was being covvered by a third party. They said they were within OEM specs. I went out today and gave it some throttle (2500 RPMS) and no smoke at all. Would this lead me to the turbo? I say this because that would mean I only get smoke with turbo load, and you don't get turbo load while in park. Let me know what you think.

If the turbo seals were going it could certainly be doing this. You would have an oily residue in the tail pipe too. How does it drive besides the smoke?

I think we are on the same track. There is an oily soot inside the tip of my tailpipe. Is it worth doing a seal kit? Or should I just upgrade to the ball bearing turbo and say goodbye to the problem?

What ball bearing would you be looking at? Can't goo too much bigger without using bigger sticks, but there are a few good options out there. You can get another stocker off the forums for cheap, or go with a powermax for $1250 or so, or a stage 1 or hybrid from MTW Welcome to Mad Turbo Werks!! the powermax and the MTW turbos are all drop in and bolt up, nothing else needed other than maybe some updated tuning. Though reading your posts it says you have an Edge CTS, so you're going to need an SCT if you do anything other than stock basically.

I think I'm going with a stage 1 myself soon here. Really want the hybrid, but don't want to spend the money haha.

I'm definitely not going stock. I don't want to be a guy on here going through this 2 or 3 times. I'm pretty sure Im going to use the powermax. I wanna stay close to stock, but not have any of these problems. I have an edge cts, and I bought it from powerhungry.com and basically they jail break the thing and they send me custom tunes for the truck. They have some deal with edge to do it. Its called the gryphon.

If you are handy with tools you can rebuild the turbo, seen rebuild kits on ebay selling for $60, as long as shaft isn't broken or the vanes damaged then this might be a good alternative.
