Trying to convert to 4 link and coils is an expensive road to take ($10K) and trying to revert back to a semi-stock height is too ($5.5K) I'll start with a fresh truck and find some kind of compromise between height, ride quality and cost. As for this animal, she gets picked up tomorrow and is headed out of state.

Don't the 2003+ Excursion have OEM 4 links on the front? That might be a good starting point. I know they have the 6.0's that everone seems to hate but I've read they can be good solid engines with a few things removed and a few others beefed up - that true?



Any how - Wife is happy, kids are pissed :bat: - I can live with that. At least I can enjoy my coffee in the morning driving my F150 with out losing a drop.
