The Ex's get AWESOME fuel milage. Diesel that is. They run about 18 down the highway. The gassers run about 10. They are ofcourse very powerful and a great ride. The reason they dropped the Ex is unknown. They sold the heck out of them and all that owned one loved them. I want one really bad. Oh yeah, the eddie's are completely loaded. Every bell and whistle known to man. Some even have second row captains.
i get 23 to 24 mpg easily with my pick-up.

Thanks stroketech, The wifes expedition has the second row captains chairs and power 3rd row. The big thing she doesnt want to let go of is the Air conditioned leather seats (I didnt even know they made these until we got this thing) but I hate this thing. It is just WAY more than I would ever need. It is big but I would rather something with a diesel.

Man...they stopped making them in '05?? I can't believe it's been that long since I went to the auto/truck show here.
There's hardly any excursions rolling around Alberta. Whenever I visit my father I see a ton of them in san antonio, they're everywhere. Funnily enough, I pulled up behind a 7.3L excursion last year, surprised to see one and lo and behold it was originally from a san antonio dealership. Lots of american vehicles up here now.
I heard they got rid of them because of emssions and fuel economy ratings for entire lineups of vehicles...or something like that. Either way, I thought it was incredibly hypocritical of Ford to make an 8mpg SUV that weighs 7000+lbs yet also work on developing a hydrogen powered focus...
