Default no crank, no wait to start

last week i went to leave a stop sign i had no acceleration. No pre symptoms. I simply went to accelerate and it was as if the truck was in neutral. I was able to get it to hop across the road by getting the rpms up over 2000. nothing in reverse either, transmission fluid looks and smells clean. after a few attempts of trying to trouble shoot, turnning on and off the vehical. It stopped turning over. Had it towed home where a mechanic friend tried to pull codes and could not read the PCM. we have a 6 position performance chip which we speculated that it coming unplugged a few times over the year may have fried the pcm. Got a new pcm installed and still the same problems. It cranks but will not start, no wait to start light on the dash. cigarette lighters work, checked the 30amp fuse it looks good. completly stumped any advice would be greatly apprciated!!!!

IDK if you got truck running yet. I have had one of the trucks I maintain have the no acceleration issue, however, in my case the truck wouldn't rev if I stepped on accelerator. Same way a truck would act if the accelerator cable had been cut. Engine continued to run normal, so I hopped out and started wiggling connections. As soon as I jiggled ICP -which on this truck that sensor is on the passenger side front of the valve cover. As soon as sensor harness made better connection, there was an instant difference in the sound of the engine, I was sure I had found the issue and sure enough, I hopped back in the truck and was able to rev it again.
I wound up changing both the pigtail and sensor as both are common failures on 6.0's anyway.

For testing ICP or harness just unplug and see if it starts. That makes PCM run on default and easy way to tell if that's the culprit.
