Default Fuel pressure seeping off?

So I put a rebuilt ip on my 94 turbo and it solved most of my problems but I have a few minor things I can't figure out. After the truck sits for a while it fires then dies then after cranking it for a few seconds it will pop off like it has a little air in the lines. Also when accelerating it sometimes hesitates then takes off like it once again pulled a little air in the lines. When I put the pump back on I had a few return lines dry rot and start to leak I replaced them I also broke a cap off an injector I replace it and o rings. Besides that I haven't found any leaks of wet spots.

I did all the new return lines didn't help but I did pull the fuel filter and it was maybe between 1/2 and 3/4 full. I know when the lift pump went bad last year the dumby light came on on the dash but the sending unit I found out was broke so I'm not sure if it's tryin to come on or not. Lift pumps pretty new so maybe I have a air leak between the lift pump and tanks?

Check the fuel filter to ip line seals, known as olives, should be one on each end of the line. Most likely place for air to enter after replaciing your ip.

if your filter is low it most likely is between the IP and your filter.... it has to have a place to bleed from and too....other wise it would be full to top but no fuel behind the filter to the lift pump.....
