Default Rubber fuel line replacement/clear line?

I have an '83 F350 6.9; I want to replace the rubber fuel lines that run from the lift pump to the filter, and from the filter to the injector pump. I'd like to replace with clear or semi-transparent hose. Are there any inexpensive hardware store hoses that will stand up to diesel/under-hood environments?

The rubber line from the filter to injector pump is really weathered and cracked, and I thought it would be nice to have a permanent clear line to replace it with.

Edit: Forgot to ask, what size is the hose from the lift pump to the filter? From the filter to the ip it looks like 3/8", I'd imagine them to both be the same size, right?

that isnt stock, it should be a metal line from lift to filter and filter to IP.

My brother told me he ran regular clear vinyl tubing in the same location on his 6.5 Chevy. The old Russian guy at the hardware store also told me vinyl tubing will stand up to diesel, so I threw it on there. I'll report back if it deteriorates quicker than black rubber fuel line.
I'm also going to slit a piece of heater hose to slip over it for a heat shield, and leave a couple inches exposed near the filter for a window.

If you have acess to Mcmaster carr I am sure you can find a clear hose that will stand up to the fuel.
