Oil In The Coolant, Oil Looks Ok

almost everyone will seep oil from heads if they are original. but there is no pressured oil threw the heads, just draining back down. no real worry unless it really bugs you. the heads are so heavy i rather not pull them if i dont have to. plus since you need to get new headbolts(or stud it), valley pan, and other assorted gaskets, not worth it for a little oil leak in my mind.

I'm bothered by the oil leaking mostly due to the price of the purple....and I like to have a clean motor as well.... kind nice to work on otherthings without getting nasy and all..... I do that enough all day at work as is.....and besides that I would like to put some boost.. like 5-8 plsi on this motor (not looking for a ton) just a little bit to carry me up the big hills here in washington... and the occasional towing that I will do it would be helpful....so I have the ARP studs on order and new head gaskets and all.. about 750 so far ... and a bit of piece of mind as well.....been through the rest of the mechanical stuff now just have to fix the t-case and the head and oil cooler leaks and all shoud be good.... maybe a lift too.... but this dang twin I beam is treeible on tires.... looking for straight axle too if ya know anyone in my neck of the woods.... 3.55's is what I have ..... mthanks for all the help Dieselcrawler u
