im ordering a exhuast temp guage finally and id like to know what the temp that is bad for the truck and where do i instal it into my exhuast

driverside manifold towards the rear. max temp you want to see in that location is 1250.

I havent turned up the injector pump yet but when I floored it to day mine went a hair over 1000 deg. I guess when i get to turning it up you really have to watch it under load.

thats the reason i tell everyone to get a pyro before turning up your pump at all. the motors are almost already at max fuel....
