Default Rear end blues

Brothers 1990 F-350 Dually AT 2wd.Was tooling down hwy at 65,lost power let off and got to side of road had engine power but truck wouldnt move.Had it towed.tore into it today.Disconnected drive shaft cranked up trans would change drive shaft movement when put in differant gears.Jacked up could turn diver side wheel both directions passenger side would not move.yoke on differntial would not turn but just a hair.removed bolts to hub and after working on it for 2 hrs could not get axle to come out.We beat banged and tryed everything but it would nt turn or move any direction. We took cover off you could see gears moving and could even see splines from passenger side move. Our thoughts and any thought at this time would be welcomed. We think something broke on passenger side and by the time he got it off the road it became really hot and siezed up the bearings only a thought .We just got tired of beating on it and decided to drop the whole rear end and get another>Throw me some kind of bone on what could have happened. Thanks alot Mitch

not sure in brothers 90 f250 7.3 4x4 5speed,we was driving down the road and had a driver side hub bearing go out on his locked it up tight, burned off a brand new michelin, came to a dead stop, but we backed up it freed up enough to limp it 3 miles to a garage.hub bear easy fix at the garage, good luck, let us know.

well this is no easy fix you cant get the hub off to fix any bearings the axle has to be broke if you can see the splines rotateing when the cover is off the diff.and you cant remove the axle
