Default couple mods im thinking about

been lookin around and found the hypermax site im looking at there cowl intake and exhaust. i know everyone says straight piped is key but the noise police arnt to fond of that around here.

these are what im thinking about

the cowl kit is worth it, even more when you have a turbo. cooled my egt's by 100-150 degrees.

i dont know how it is for you guys around there but in pa if its registered a 1 ton and its a diesel, straight pipes are legal and there is nothing they can do about it.

ahh i was unaware of that. mine has yet to see the road with the turbo. but i never had an issue with getting away with the straights. although now when i get pulled over i can be a real dick. i love being legal and being harassed

they cant do nothin bout it but there will never be a cat or muffler on this truck

thanks to mack trucks who when building their rigs said that a turbo is considered a noise surpressing device, thats how we can get away with it. but they CAN still fine you if you are over the DB level for the area (mainly in towns or city)

I know here in Oklahoma they don't say anything to me, my 6.9 has been straight piped for 5 years. They look at it hard but it has no emissions so they can't say anything when I do get pulled over. I got a ticket in a little town once for a Jake brake but they dripped it in court since they don't make one for the idi. Just don't be to noisy, but if your like me it's hard.
