Default HEAVY MISS

have a 94f250 with a miss, hard starting & using fuel, had injectors popped & 1 dropped off at 500, truck has 300000mi changed injectors & bled out started running good but minutes later miss back, could there be something wrong with the injection pump?

ask yourself this; are you getting a miss because of a lack of fuel, or because of raw fuel (not enough atomization because of a weak injector or not enough pressure)?

when the miss occurs, do you see white or any smoke?

and when you re-bleed, is fuel immediately there or does it take a couple seconds to see fuel once you crack it?

RAW FUEL, WHITE SMOKE, SLOW COMING, WAS WONDERING IF THE PUMP COULD BE BYPASSING BETWEEN TWO LINES, OR AM I OVERTHINKING?

at 300000 miles, pump is done. the standard DB2 pump only lasts 100000-125000 miles.

Yea if fuel is slow coming up the line, either your pump's being starved via plugged fuel filter or bad lift pump, or the pump is just bad. But seeing how you say the truck run's fine up until the miss, i'd just say your pump is bad. like everyone else is saying, these pumps dont usually last over 150k with GOOD maintenance.

If you want to you could try the lift pump and filter first, I would replace them if I put a new pump on anyway, just to be sure.
