i have recently turned the pump up 3/8 of a turn and advanced the timing by a 1/16 of an inch . . . made a big difference in performance

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

diesel crawler . . . within the past year i replaced plugs and injectors on my truck and since then it starts right up in the winter unlike last winter. what made the difference for you?

mine have always started. i keep my timing set at 9.5 degrees BTDC and a nice fresh fuel system. test glow plugs about every 6 months and replace any that are bad.

Well, just replaced the returns lines, hats and o-rings. Next is lift pump. Can't find any other leaks, but it's hard to start after sitting for an hour or so. Even if it's warm. I've not plugged mine in since I replaced all my GPs and the Controller. I love my truck but, coming in from two weeks on the road and having to ether her is a pain!
