does the k and n cold air induction system improve horsepower on a 7.3 idi turbo diesel ?

Just the k&n air filter? Don't waste your money. Go this route

where did you get that intake system? and wouldn't it be best to put a air box around that filter to keep most of the hot air out?

Yea probably, it's custom, 4" pipe cut, bent, and welded with a 6637 filter on the end

Autozone spectra lifetime warrenty radiator...only like 310$

I was told not to push the IDI'S over 15 psi ???? so 17 is a shocker !!!
i want a turbo.... where can i get one ? ive looked all over .... do i need head studs to go over 15 psi ?
My IDI is N/Aand its california emmisions..... will the bottom end hold up to 15 to 17 psi ?

do you think that if i were to put a smaller pipe with a filter on the end that the air would flow faster due to restriction and end up with more boost?
