return lines WILL cause hard start issues and air intrusion.

and stay away from pensocola. worst injectors out there. cheap for a reason.

go to a well known filter company and ask them if they sell baldwin filters... get the BF1222....its a fuel water seperator.... my idi did the same thing it was a bad water bowl on the bottom and as soon as i replaced it i never had the problem again..... its worth it .... never run the old one again.... i have it just in case .... but will run over 1 year and still have the original one on there and over 15k on just one filter..... i put a bio-glass 5 micron filter in between lift pump and the fuel/water sep..... that helped a ton ... now i can run 20 % bio=diesel fuel too.... big mpg gains

wix sells the one peice fuel water seperator to replace the 2 peice one on the 7.3 setups. i am running a racor F/W sep. on my 6.9 and love it. but i change fuel filters every oil change. just cheap insurance.
