92 F350 not charging.
Ok my 92 in my sig has all of a sudden quit charging. Just before it quit charging i had it parked for about a week and went and tried to start it and it wouldnt hardly crank over popped the hood and the alt was really hot to the touch and it was only like 60 degrees outside so the alt shouldnt have had been hot charged it back up and havent drove it since.
The amp light used to flicker while idling so i took the light out and just kept a eye on the gauge. Well now once it runs it stalls out after it runs the batts dead. So far I have had the alt checked at napa and they spun it about a dozen times and it still shows good. Also replaced the voltage regulator with a new one and also replaced the plug that was corroded real bad even tried swapping the reg and alt out of the 88 and still the same no charging. What do ya guys think could be the problem?

Well after finally finding a wiring schematic and looking at some things for the 3g upgrade i notice a side note to take and put a shunt around the amp light in the dash because if it burns out it breaks the circuit for the key on trigger to the alt. After replacing the light it started charging again.
So it was a combo of a bad connector at the volt reg that caused the light to come on then my stupid moment of removing it so it wouldnt sit and flash that caused all this no charge issue. FIXED
