Default please help!!! idi dies going around turns

Im having problems with my 6.9 idi dieing driving around turns or curves on the road ..Some times it dies or most of the time it feels like someone just turns the key off for 3 seconds and then back on and its goin again..Its very weird !!!But i did notice when i changed the oil last night that the negative battery cable on the driver side goin down to the front of the motor has been rubbin on the steering shaft and is very close to be rubbed all the way through..Im just wondering if this could be the problem????Thanks for any kinda help

Probably shorting out and killing the engine, try replacing the cable then tie it up so it can't get hung up on anything

negative cable shorting out to the frame. uhh... no. replace the cable though with a new one. check all the cables, wires to the motor. somewhere one is loose.

Yup If your engine dosen't have a good ground the fuel valve will shut down intermitantly, causing that symptom of "shutting down" on turns or hard bumps.

Fixed the ground cable lastnight and the truck still is having the problem but while i was driving it home before I put the new cable on it .I took a diffrent way that has more curves and turns and the truck didnt act up ...The Battery light flickers alone with dash lights and headlights so im goin to look at that..It has a new Alternator and volt regulator..Checked the connection at the injection pump and everything looks good...

have you looked at the fuel filter and the housing it screws into? im not exactly sure what it does but there is a sencor on the top of the housing its black and if ur facing the firewall its on the left side of the housnig on both my old idi's they would leake fuel from there making my fuel system lose prime and suck air
