the only thing i can say about 3 inch body lift is that i have heard the are extra unsafe. if you got into an accident your body will just plain fall off. i think im going to go with a 2 inch just to be safe. and if your talking about a 1 ton truck it rides like a tractor any way. unless you do a shackle reversal you wont ever get a nice ride weather or not you do an add a leaf or leave it stock.

yes, using a hockey puck with a hole drilled in it will give you a cheap one inch body lift.

ha ha thats sweet! jsut get longer bolts? what kind of extensions would you have to get as far as steering shaft or stuff like that? or is it even a big deal?
